We were responsible for the re-production of the spectacular kinetic installation work Encounter with the Unknown exhibited on Cai Guo-Qiang: Ramble in the Cosmos―From Primeval Fireball Onward from June 29 - August 21, 2023 at The National Art Center, Tokyo.
While continuing the story of the work itself - a fireworks frame made by a Mexican pyrotechnician and a tape LED attached by a Chinese pyrotechnician - the control equipment, motor and LEDs that were dismantled and whose condition was unknown after the previous exhibition were investigated and restored, and the work was revived with a new production under the direction of Mr. Cai.
