A drum pad-like device with buttons that physically react differently to the timbre.
At the very beginning, it was an experimental jig to create vertical motion with a magnet, an audio amplifier that could output from DC (0Hz), and a coil.
A conductive rubber touch sensor is incorporated into it to create a moving drum pad. Each tone has its own set of movements. By moving the pad itself, the performance of continuous hitting is triggered.
And from there, it leads to experiments that integrate sound and manipulation.
